925 sterling silver

925 Sterling silver is the industry standard used by most jewellers in the production of quality silver jewellery. The 925 figure refers to the percentage of pure silver in the alloy - 92.5%, with the remaining 7.5% being copper. The addition of copper makes the silver harder and more durable, making it suitable for jewellery.

Argentium

Argentium silver is a modern tarnish resistant silver alloy. It contains a higher percentage of pure silver than traditional sterling silver (94%). Argentium also contains germanium which contributes to it being more tarnish resistant and also a brighter appearance. Argentium is known for its durability, brightness and hypoallergenic properties.
