Despite the commonality of the symbol of the cross within jewellery, we hadn’t seen it executed well in rings, so we wanted to give it a crack. The cross is a significant symbol within Christianity, being simple in its ability to be understood and complexity in the sheer depth behind it. The cross is a symbol of the wood that Jesus was pinned to, and died on for His claims of being the Son of God. However, the power of this symbol comes in His resurrection, fulfilling His own claims and other prophesies. 
 
When worn with The Gap, we understand why this happened. The rings parallel this reality where the cross (Jesus’ death and resurrection) acts as a bridge for the separation that sin created between humanity and God. What Jesus did on the cross was re-establishing a union between God and humans, a union we can gain simply through belief in Jesus' selfless sacrifice. These rings were designed to remind wearers of God’s grace in giving us the person of Jesus to restore this relationship, bridging this gap that is otherwise unbridgeable.
